The Charity Guild
The Charity Guild is a food pantry and thrift shop located at 501 Main Street in Brockton, MA, serving the greater Brockton area.
The Guild operates a thrift store which offers high quality, gently used designer and name-brand clothing for men, women and children at reasonable prices.
Their mission is "to provide basic and necessary services to those unable to meet their primary needs of food, clothing and household goods."
New England Wildlife Center
Founded in 1983, the New England Wildlife Center is a humane nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving wildlife and the environment through the operation of a wildlife teaching hospital, education, advocacy and public health and habitat intervention.
They provide a rehabilitation animal habitat and environmental protection, affording humane care to native and naturalized wild animals through their wildlife medicine hospital.
Women for Women Internaitonal
Our Theory of Change: Women for Women International believes that when women are well, sustain an income, are decision-makers, and have strong social networks and safety-nets, they are in a much stronger position to advocate for their rights. This philosophy and our commitment to local leadership builds change and capacity at the grassroots level.
Participation in our one-year program launches women on a journey from victim to survivor to active citizen. We identify services to support graduates of the program as they continue to strive for greater social, economic and political participation in their communities.
